About Us

D&D Compassionate Activity Companion’s LLC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is an adult day care that was established in 2016. Our goal is to engage the minds of adults experiencing old age and early signs of dementia/Alzheimer’s disease and traumatic brain injury.  D&D Adult Day Care is a member of the Alzheimer's Foundation Of America.

D&D fulfills the needs of companionship by conducting group and individual activities with seniors and individuals with disabilities to create memorable arts and crafts. The 6-hour block group sessions are designed to give caregivers a break and to allow clients living in a community residential facility or adult family home a chance to engage in group activities outside of their living environment.

Our adult day care services provide a social engagement group for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and traumatic brain injuries. Moreover, our staff is licensed to cater to the needs of these adults. We are a great option for individuals living alone, adults living in adult family homes, and adults residing in community residential housing.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to host engaging activities that will build teamwork and friendships and increase behavior change. We hold physical activities that improve the health and communication skills of adults under our care.

The company owner, Ms. Wren, has no interest in establishing just another adult day care. Instead, she wants a new, leading institution in health care that provides companionship by engaging individuals with activities.

She finished a 4-year education in healthcare service management in Milwaukee Area Technical College and has a Master's degree, with a focus on eldercare, from the Concordia University of Wisconsin. Ms. Wren has hands-on work experience as a certified nursing assistant, phlebotomist, behavioral health office manager, and a health unit coordinator for an intensive care unit.

She has been introduced to various cultures, ages, and religions during her professional life. Ms. Wren prides herself on doing whatever she can to assist individuals in need. She truly enjoys working with the elderly and disabled by engaging their minds with activities and creativity.
